its fucking awesome, i am having the most fun ive ever had in my entire life. and i have a new boyfriend who is everything that i could ever want, he is good-looking(to me) and hes sweet and caring but rude and loud as well and he has a really dirty mind just like me, and he is just perfect, he knows just what to say and do. I am, for the first time, experiencing genuine happiness
so with all of that going on its no surprise that i havent been drawing at all recently, for about 6 months now, apart from my art exam (which was awesome - jess i will upload piccys asap) i just havent had the time to sit down, relax and experiment. i havent really had much motivation, of course i get inspiration from other peoples amazing work, and it does make me want to draw but then whats in my head comes out like shit on the paper so its the classic, waste paper bin overflowing with crumpled up pieces of paper strewn around my room, so i gave it a break for a while.
but now i have motivation.O god yes i do, because i. Finally. have photoshop, thanks to my mums IT specialist boyfriend i can have whatever software i want on my laptop, and i can have as much bloody memory as well! it works sooooo much faster since hes cleared out all the crap from it
if anybody has any tips for me or techniques id love to hear them as i have never had photoshop before, im trying out different colours and brush strokes. i do have a question though:
i scan my drawings into my computer and i used to just draw over the top of the lines (which where in ink on the paper itself) with my(crappy)software, but it never looked right and i was constantly dissapointed by the end result just becasue of the bloody lines, i have no idea how to make them sharper, or clearer i dont know but if you look closely at my 'work' them you can see that the lines are wobbly and sometimes discoloured. anyone have any tips?
id appreciate it alot
well ive rambled on enough, will try to upload some of my photography as well soon - great one of my kitten in his typical pose - mouth wide open demanding food
bye
xx
